James Gulliver Hancock is the author of the ambitious new book All the Buildings in New York: That I’ve Drawn So Far, which is a catalog of sorts of the first 500 or so drawings. Amazon.com called it “a love letter to New York City, told through James Gulliver Hancock’s unique and charming drawings of the city’s diverse architectural styles and cityscape.” According to his website, the project stemmed from and “interest in obsession and recording of places.” He also does drawings on commission, should you want a portrait of your brownstone or skyscraper.
