Lumber Liquidators is a home improvement company with with a Market Cap of $1.9 billon. 

Lumber Liquidators retails hardwood flooring, and hardwood flooring enhancements and accessories. It originated in 1993 when Tom Sullivan, a building contractor, began purchasing and then reselling surplus wood from the back of trucking firm yards in Stoughton, Massachusetts.  The first Lumber Liquidator retail store opened in West Roxbury, Massachusetts on January 5, 1996 and, as of February 20, 2012, there are 266 Lumber Liquidator stores located in 46 states and Canada with over 1000 employees. In late 2007, LL became a  publicly traded company.  Robert Lynch has been president and chief executive officer since January of 2013; Daniel Terrell has been chief financial officer for the past six years.
